Deck height is the distance between the top of the cylinder and the top of the outer edge of the piston at the top stop (TDC).\u003cbr\u003eInstall the new head o-ring on the top of the cylinder and make sure the locating pin is in place and seated properly.\u003cbr\u003ePlace the supplied 23 x 2.5mm o-ring into the groove on the top of the combustion chamber insert. Place the outer \"cap\" portion of the head over the insert, being careful not to move the o-ring. Screw the spark plug into the top of the insert with your fingers. Holding the spark plug, lift the head assembly as a unit onto the cylinder. Carefully position the head, making sure the locating pins are aligned and the o-ring stays in place.\u003cbr\u003eTighten the nuts\/bolts in a criss-cross pattern to the required torque specification in the owner's manual.
