However, the standard R1300GS and R1300GS Adventure differ significantly in areas such as the fuel tank, rear-frame arrangement, protection equipment and touring setup. BMW lists a 19-litre tank for the standard R1300GS and a 30-litre tank for the Adventure, so luggage, bodywork, protection and tank-area accessories should not automatically be treated as interchangeable.

Check the exact motorcycle and model year rather than choosing a kickstand plate by appearance.
