Commander Generations and Model Differences
Not automatically. This collection covers several generations, including Commander 800, 800R, 1000 and 1000R models as well as newer Commander 700 and 1000R applications. Some service parts span multiple generations, while chassis, clutch, cooling and other model-specific components can have much narrower fitment. Match the complete model and year on the individual product page rather than using engine size alone.
Some components are shared, but MAX fitment should be checked separately. NICECNC products in this collection cover Commander MAX 800R, MAX 1000 and MAX 1000R as well as standard two-seat Commander models, and parts affected by chassis length, mounting position or body layout may differ. Make sure your exact MAX model and year are specifically included before ordering.
Cross-Platform Parts and Commander 1000R Service
Certain Can-Am platforms share specific service components and hardware, so products such as coolant reservoirs, clutch tools, clutch rollers, coolant fittings and other mechanical parts may list Commander 1000R together with Can-Am Defender or Can-Am Maverick X3. That shared fitment applies only to the individual component being listed and does not mean the vehicles are generally interchangeable.
Check both the Commander model year and the exact clutch or CVT application. This collection includes products such as primary clutch pullers, belt-changing tools, clutch rollers and CVT hardware, with many applications centred on Commander 1000R and selected related Can-Am platforms. An older Commander 800/1000 and a newer 700/1000R should not be assumed to use the same service tool or replacement component.
Yes. The collection includes specific applications such as Commander 700 4x4 DPS and XT, Commander 1000R DPS, XMR, XT and XT-P, as well as corresponding Commander MAX versions. A product that fits one Commander 1000R configuration may not necessarily cover every trim.
