Honda CBR1000RR Parts FAQ
Models and Fitment
No. The CBR1000RR has gone through several major generations, so controls, bodywork, cooling parts and chassis components can change significantly between years. Current NICECNC products include year-specific applications such as 2004–2007 brake and clutch levers, 2008–2016 kickstand accessories and 2017–2019 radiator protection. Always match the exact year listed on the product page.
Generally, no. The CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP is a substantially different superbike platform with different engine dimensions, brakes, suspension and chassis specifications. Honda’s current CBR1000RR uses a 76.0 × 55.1 mm bore and stroke with 320 mm front discs, while the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP uses an 81.0 × 48.5 mm engine layout and 330 mm Brembo front brakes. Parts should only be shared when the exact model is specifically listed.
Many body, engine and rider-control parts can be shared between ABS and non-ABS versions of the same generation, but brake-system components require more care. ABS models include additional braking hardware and sensors, so brake lines, brackets and other ABS-related parts should only be used when the correct version is listed.
Do not assume they will. A lever, radiator guard, fuel cap or chassis accessory may look similar while using different mounting points or dimensions. For example, the current brake and clutch lever parts in this collection include a CBR1000RR-specific set for 2004–2007, which should not be treated as a universal fit for later generations.
Controls and Protection
Confirm the model year, lever mounting design and handlebar or fork-tube dimensions before ordering. Aftermarket brake and clutch levers and clip-ons can also affect control clearance, switchgear position and brake or clutch operation, so fitment should be verified before installation.
It can be useful for protecting the radiator from stones and road debris, especially because the radiator is exposed at the front of the motorcycle. The current CBR1000RR radiator guard in this collection is specifically listed for 2017–2019 models, so later years should not be assumed to use the same guard.
