Husqvarna 701 Enduro / Supermoto Parts FAQ
Models and Fitment
Some parts are shared because both models use the same LC4 engine platform, but they should not be treated as fully interchangeable. The Enduro and Supermoto use different wheel, brake and suspension setups for off-road and road-focused riding, so wheel, brake, suspension and model-specific chassis parts require exact fitment confirmation.
Some selected components do. The 701 shares a number of engine, drivetrain and control-related parts with the KTM 690 Enduro R and KTM 690 SMC R. Current cross-fit examples include selected foot controls and service hardware, but compatibility still depends on the exact component and model year.
Not automatically. The 2026 701 Enduro and 701 Supermoto received substantial updates to the engine, bodywork, electronics and chassis-related components. Current NICECNC products also show mixed fitment ranges such as 2016–2025, 2016–2024 and even model-year-specific applications, so a part should only be used on a 2026 bike when that year is explicitly listed.
Rider Setup and Ride Height
A lowering link reduces rear ride height and changes chassis geometry, while lowered footpegs increase legroom without lowering the motorcycle itself. Current 701 options include 1.25-inch and 2-inch rear lowering links as well as 20 mm lower footpegs. After lowering the suspension, also check side-stand length and suspension balance; an adjustable kickstand may be useful.
Performance and Maintenance
Not necessarily when used by itself, but the complete intake and exhaust setup matters. Current air filter and intake parts include high-flow filters and vented airbox covers for selected 2016–2025 701 models. If airflow is increased substantially or combined with exhaust modifications, fueling and engine behavior should be evaluated to determine whether tuning is appropriate.
Yes. Husqvarna issued an official recall covering 2018–2020 701 Enduro and 701 Supermoto models because a clutch slave-cylinder seal could potentially be damaged and impair clutch operation. Owners of affected model years should verify that the recall inspection or repair was completed through an authorized dealer. Replacement clutch slave cylinder parts should not be treated as a substitute for checking an outstanding safety recall.
