Designed for high-performance engines, this manual cam chain tensioner replaces the Original automatic or hydraulic tensioner, providing greater control and more consistent cam chain tension.

Installation Instructions

• Reuse the original OEM brass washer.
• Install the OEM brass washer onto the new black insert.
• Slide the assembly into the engine, thread it in by hand until seated, then tighten the body with a 17 mm wrench.
• Using a 6 mm Allen wrench, turn the stainless steel adjuster bolt clockwise until it makes contact with the cam chain guide.
• From this point, turn the adjuster an additional 1/2 turn to achieve the correct chain tension.
• Install and tighten the 13 mm lock nut.
• Built-in O-ring is included to ensure a proper oil-tight seal.

Adjustment & Maintenance (Important)

• The manual cam chain tensioner must be adjusted to the correct tension.
• Incorrect adjustment may result in serious engine damage.
• If you are not experienced with engine maintenance, professional installation is strongly recommended.
• Check and readjust the cam chain tension every 6–8 riding hours or during each regular maintenance interval.
